Our approach to learning and modalities

Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, Intellectual

There are five main aspects of personal health: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual. In order to be considered "well," it is imperative for these areas to not be neglected. Our curriculum will ensure students receive these aspects to help them thrive. In addition the modalities that will be utilized are Applied Behavior Analysis, Montessori and pivotal response training.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. ABA refers to a set of principles that focus on how behaviors change, or are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. The term behavior refers to skills and actions needed to talk, play, and live.

Montessori

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the highly trained teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.

Pivot Response Training

Naturalistic form of ABA by focusing on child’s development of working for specific behavior by focusing on pivotal areas across social skills, communication, behavior and learning. This approach uses the child’s interest as an opportunity to help child learn and reach their goals.

Our Faculty

Lillian Aguirre - Founder/ CEO

I am married to my college sweetheart since 2013. I am a daughter of God, a mother of 3, a friend, professional, and an individual enthusiastic about life itself. I grew up in Rosemead California with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Growing up in a family of 5 was filled with adventures, chaos and love which has taught me the importance of family and friends. I value faith, respect, honesty, integrity and full transparency in all things and interactions. I enjoy being around people and getting to know them, their culture and who they are. Things I like to do is spend time with family and friends, read, play sports and love Brazilian Jujitsu.

I have always had a desire to advocate and help those around me who needed a voice or couldn’t advocate for themselves. I have always strived to assist others in seeing the light within themselves and helping them see their own self worth. I naturally have had innate skills to be more empathetic and supportive in any role I'm in.

I was inspired to open the school with the help of my dear friend whom I trust my life with. I have over a decade experience working with children and adults with disabilities, or on the spectrum disorder. Throughout my experience parents would need to move out of state to further their child’s education, or find a specialized school geared towards their child’s need. I vision a school where children who interpret the world differently than the average person can come feel safe and learn things at their own pace and learn about their strengths.

My goal is to provide resources for individuals and families to modify and create their own learning environment and curriculum to fit their own educational needs. To support parents in having specialized courses for their children to thrive and functionally live in a changing society. May this school bless the lives of all who are part of the village in raising strong, kinds and well rounded leaders.

Tanya Terracciano - Operations Manager

My name is Tanya Terracciano and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I’ve been married for almost 6 years. I come from a big family, 2 brothers and 6 sisters. I grew up with Christian beliefs. I’ve been in the pharmacy field the past 5 years; before that I worked with children. I’ve worked with infants up to adolescents. Since I can remembered,  I’ve always loved being around children. I felt like I’ve learned more from them than they probably did from me. I have a 4 year old daughter, Olivia, whom we love dearly; especially because she makes us view the world differently.

After receiving Olivia’s diagnosis, back in 2022, we decided to provide an environment for her where she could thrive. It is hard advocating for her but it is all worth it. We couldn’t find the resources we were looking for in Nevada, so we decided to create an environment where she and other children like her, are able to thrive spiritually and academically. That is why Lilly and I got together to create an environment  Neurodivergent children can reach their full potential.
